We never felt comfortable or welcomed.The over-the-water bungalows at Sandals Grande St. In the mornings to receive a cup of coffee was exhausting! In overall the staff was never attentive at times we were even ignored. There wasn't any water or friendly faces while in the buffet at any time. The buffet had another line every day and the staff was horrendous! We would ask for a fork and it would take 20 minutes to receive it, that’s one example. We had to do a long line of at least an hour every day to reserve a dinner reservation and most of the time when it was our turn to pick a restaurant there wasn't available seating for 8, in fact there was one restaurant we wanted to try and we were told that at no time during our stay we would be able to sit together at the same time and when we walked by this restaurant everyday there were available tables for more than 8 people. I purchased an all-inclusive package including Wi-Fi and the safe in ALL hotels is included. Upon arrival, we were told all-inclusive wasn't included and that we had to pay for Wi-Fi and the safe inside the room. Last year we went to Catalonia Royal Tulum and it was by far amazing! At Grand Oasis Tulum, we were all treated extremely poorly. This is by far the worse hotel we have ever stayed in and will never recommend or return. We are a group of 8 that travel every year together. We'll be looking to another resort for next year. It used to be a very good hotel especially for family stay, but it went down hill for last few years. Thanks God there was no damage in the bumper.

After we have checked out and put the suitcases in our rented car, the driver of shuttle train hit our parked car from behind. Seaweeds just laid along the water line rotting and stinking.Ĩ. Staff was trying to clean it manually with forks and bags but it was keep coming every day.

We understand it was such season, but the beach was full of seaweeds. Spa/Massage is overpriced as many activities around.ħ. We had to change them 3 times in 7 days.Ħ. If you loose it you get charged $100 USD.
Watch your bracelets all the time you go to the water! It's made of paper and can easily come off. Make sure you flush 2-3 times to get stuff moved through the pipes.Water pressure is low, as a result shower was barely working.Ĥ.
Room's toilet got periodically backed up. We left good tips all the time and still could not get adequate service.ģ. Waited for a waiter to bring beer/wine/coffee for too long (sometimes after we finished our meal). Buffet was understaffed (all the time we saw 1-2 waiters only!). We had to stay in the line (10-20 min) to get seated in the buffet.Ģ. It was our *third* stay (and the last one) so we know a good baseline.ġ.
