Ignis once responded to me that the dev team is aware of the stacking problem, but it has a very low priority for a fix.because very few people ever notice/report it, and there has always been a perfectly fine route to the PRAWN Suit blueprint. The place where the powerful PRAWN Suit is stored. Hope this Helps:)Coordinates for First Location:(-29.
SUBNAUTICA PRAWN SUIT FRAGMENTS AURORA HOW TO
Other arm type fragments ONLY contribute to their own blueprint. Welcome back to Subnautica Today I will show you how to get into the Prawn Bay. In this video I will show you where you can find Fragments for the Prawn Suit Grapple Arm in Subnautica. The claw arms are the default arm type on the completed PRAWN. Only the claw arm fragments contribute to the Suit blueprint. ( I have always found 5, during half a dozen explorations of the Aurora, but others insist that they have only found 4.)Īlternative PRAWN arm type fragments (torpedo arms, grapple arms, drill arms, propulsion cannon arms) DO NOT contribute to the PRAWN Suit blueprint. However, the player community rarely even notices this issue, because the character can always find 4 or 5 torso fragments in the Aurora PRAWN Suit Bay, which he MUST pass through while exploring the Aurora. Since there are only 3 torso fragments scattered among various wrecks, and, I think, 7 to 9 claw arm fragments in the wild, the failure to stack means that you can never complete the PRAWN Suit blueprint from the bits you can find outside the Aurora. The 5% increments from claw arms will not stack with the 25% increments from torsos. The stacking of the percentages accumulated has been bugged apparently since introduction of the PRAWN Suit in EA. So, yes, theoretically you could do 20 scans of claw arm fragments to complete the blueprint.

Torso fragments count as 25% of the blueprint, claw arm fragments count as 5% of the blueprint.

To reach 100% of the PRAWN Suit blueprint you can theoretically scan torso fragments and/or claw arm fragments. A little clarification that I have gleaned from corresponding with various old hand EA veterans, and with Ignis.
